Sharing Gifts at St. John XXIII
Everyone is invited to share their gifts and talents with the parish. We are the hands and feet of Jesus in the world. We believe sharing our gifts nurtures and increases our faith and our sense of welcome and belonging.
Opportunities to share gifts include: serving as a liturgical minister (Eucharistic minister, lector, usher, altar server, greeter, sacristan), singing or playing an instrument in the choir, planning and helping with parish events, participating in a committee or council, gardening, church cleaning, woodworking, leading children’s liturgy, taking communion to the sick and homebound, welcoming new parishioners, helping at funeral dinners, quilting, providing childcare, leading adult faith formation sessions, sponsoring RCIA candidates, serving the hungry, counting money, maintenance and improvement, fund raising, donating to food drives, and much more. Contact the pastoral associate for more information.
